Perelà - In the spring of 2003 Stefano Poletti created an original collection that for the first time combines to the traditional use of “raw” materials.. the synthetic. The choice of plexiglas with its bright transparency and striking optical properties in the transmission of light is the best to re-interpret the history of Perelà, the evanescent little smoke-man, of the “Perelà” novel by Palazzeschi. The inspiration comes from a night at the “Opera” of Paris, where through the music of Pascal Dusapin are explored the suggestions and fears of ordinary people in contact with this character and its diversity. Different as are earrings, necklaces and brooches of this collection. "... Usually the plexiglas is cut from its sheets and used as it is: flat. For Perelà, after the laser-cutting process, I tried to warm it up by getting the three-dimensional shape to convey better the idea of the sprinkles of smoke. The collection has been a big hit among the younger people, so much to suggest me the idea to create a special version for those who like “classics” offering it also in silver, a metal that with its bright shades still succeedes in reproducing the idea of that evanescent smoke I was looking for ... "
Perelà - Au printemps 2003, sort une collection originale qui, pour la première fois, emploie un matériau synthétique : le plexiglas. Avec sa transparence, sa luminosité et ses propriétés optiques suggestives, il s’est imposé comme incontournable pour réinterpréter l'histoire de Perelà, l’homme de fumée, personnage intrigant décrit dans le roman éponyme de Palazzeschi.
Lors d’une soirée à l’Opèra de Paris fut représentée Perelà, œuvre musicale de Pascal Dusapin. Sur scène, on retrouvait ce personnage "différent" qui attise les préjugés, les craintes et les peurs des gens communs. Les boucles d'oreille, le collier et la broche de cette collection sont, elles aussi, différentes : « D'habitude le plexiglas est découpé dans des plaques et utilisé comme tel : à plat. Pour Perelà, après la coupe au laser, je l’ai chauffé pour réaliser les formes tridimensionnelles qui rendent au mieux l'idée des volutes de fumée. La collection a eu beaucoup de succès parmi le public le plus jeune et cela m’a suggéré l'idée de la proposer aussi en argent, pour un autre public. Ce métal, avec ses nuances chatoyantes, renforce cette idée de fumée évanescente que je cherchais. »

per riproporre la storia di Perelà, l’evanescente omino di fumo dell’omonimo romanzo di Palazzeschi. L’ispirazione viene da una serata all’ Opera di Parigi dove con la musica di Pascal Dusapin
vengono indagate le suggestioni ed i timori della gente comune a contatto con questo personaggio “diverso”. Diverso come lo sono gli orecchini, il collier e la broche di questa collezione.”…Di
solito il plexiglas viene ritagliato dalle sue lastre ed utilizzato come tale: piatto. Per Perelà, dopo il taglio al Laser, ho provato a scaldarlo ottenendo la forma tridimensionale che meglio da
l’idea delle volute di fumo. La collezione ha avuto un grande successo tra il pubblico più giovane tanto da suggerirmi l’idea per le amanti del “classico” di proporla anche in argento, metallo
che con le sue lucenti sfumature riesce comunque a confermare quell’idea di fumo evanescente che cercavo…”
